So how long has your car been in the family?
Lou’s father bought this Mustang new and they’re still cruising in it with the original six-cylinder engine.
The car has two-hundred thousand plus miles on it, but for a 1966 model car that isn’t all that many miles!
The restoration was done in 1980 and looks as if was just completed. How many Ford Mustangs have you seen with fender skirts?
Not Many! Among the things making this an eye catcher are the fender-skirts, wide whitewalls, side-pipes
and the fact that the car has been lowered three inches all the way around. The louvers were done by Lou’s Louver.
The door handles and locks, as well as the trunk lock, have been removed and the holes, as well as body seams, filled.
The tasteful white and dark blue striping is a good touch. The car has ’57 Plymouth hub-caps with knock-offs added.
All-in-all, the Muller Family Mustang is a very attractive mild custom that definitely takes us back in time and
reminds us of good memories of the past.
