Doug & Pauline Fox, along with other "Car Guys and Gals" in the Victoria British Columbia area,
are part of the Downtown Mooresville Cruise-In's international audience. They participate electronically by way
of the web-sites Cars & Cruisers and Car Guy DVDs. They are some of the really great car people that I have
met at Hot August Nights in Reno, Nevada over the twenty-five years of that event.
They drive to Reno from their various home towns in Canada every year.
This year they had a caravan of five cars. The '56 Ford Crown Victoria featured here is Pauline's car.
Since it is such an outstanding car it is featured on the
label and the menu page of the Reno 2011 "Car Guy" DVD.
Her husband, Doug, has the red Ford Model-A five window coupe street-rod also pictured here from when they
drove it to Reno in 2009. Pauline's Crown Victoria is an all original car and features almost all of the accessories
that were available in 1956, making it a perfect example of what the cars were, or could be like, back in the day.
I really admire people that have fine cars and enjoy them the way Doug & Pauline do!
