The Coolest GREAT Grandfather in Harrisburg pretty much describes Eddy.
He grew up and went to school in Mooresville, but now lives in Harrisburg.
Many of the older local “Car Guys” know him for his car striping. Eddy has been striping cars since forever and is still among the best.
He is also an artist and enjoys painting in his gallery for relaxation.
He retired in 1989 and currently has two fine hot rods, the ’50 Chevy Pickup and a ’40 Mercury convertible.
He found both of them in Northern California where he has been going since 1988 to vacation and take in the car shows of the area,
like the Good Guy’s Western Nationals in Pleasanton.
Eddy found the ’50 Chevy truck in Oakley, CA and has had it three years plus.
I thought it was pretty cool with the old six-cylinder engine, but it now has Fat Man front suspension with power steering,
power brakes, air conditioning and a new GM 350, 290 H.P. crate engine coupled to a 700R transmission.
