Cliff has owned his 1931 Ford A Model for thirty-one years and he’s been working on it for thirty-one years!
It’s what’s known as a chopped top five-window coupe, which simply means the top has been lowered and it has a
small quarter window behind the door.
He thinks the supercharger is the only moving part on the car that he hasn’t ever broken.
He drove the car to Mooresville for the Cruise-In from Greensboro, as he often does, and there’s no doubt that the
471 supercharged engine will make the trip just fine and even in record time.
He loves driving the car and has over fifteen thousand miles on it, but admits it will pass anything but a gas
station and at the price of gas today, it’s a bit expensive to go cruising. No Kidding!
